Lil’ Inker Designs – Nuts About You

I’m sharing a card today for Lil’ Inker Designs featuring the Nutty About You stamp and Acorn Dies. The acorns on this coordinating stamp and die set is so cute – and the sentiments are humorous! I used the dies for the focal images because they come in varying sizes and decided to use the stamp for the background for a tone-on-tone look.

I started by die cutting the different acorns and leaves from the die set in several different colors and ink-sponged the edges with a coordinating ink. On the acorn tops, I used a white gelly roll pen to draw in some lines to imitate the lines from the acorn tops on the stamp set.

For the background, I stamped the large acorn all over to give the background a tone-on-tone pattern and accenting with some green with the leaves. I used a rounded stitched rectangle die by Lil’ Inker Desings and I propped up the images on foam tape. I embossed the sentiment in white over black cardstock. I arranged the little die cut leaves between the acorns and sentiment strip and completed the card by rounding off the card base to match the card front.

It’s a lot simpler than it looks, but I hope you enjoyed this card!
