Pretty Pink Posh and Glue Dots is having a fun collaboration today.  There are prizes from both companies up for grabs so be sure to hop along with us!  I got some samples of their products to try and I’m a bit taken away with how many different adhesives they offer in varying shapes, sizes, and strengths!  There are dots bigger than my thumb!  I know when it comes to adhesive, we all have a personal favorite – or we go and look and try new things until we find what’s best for us.  I hope you’ll give Glue Dots a try!  I used the tape runner and mini glue dots for my card today and it’s great!  I created a card using lots of die-cut images – so lots of adhesive needed!

I started by cutting the Fall Tags (NEW from the recent Pretty Pink Posh September Release) and Small Stitched Foliage dies in various colored cardstock.  All of my cardstock is from Stampin’ Up!  (which is what I started out with).  To give the pieces more color, I sponged coordinating ink colors around the edges of each image.

For the card base, I added some Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink to the background and die-cut a scallop frame in gold glitter cardstock.  I propped up this frame on foam tape for some added dimension.

The die-cut images are either adhered directly to the background using the Glue Dots permanent dry tape runner, or adhered together using mini glue dots.  I also had to use some foam tape to give some of them dimension to be level with the frame.  To add some shimmer, I used my Wink of Stella Clear shimmer pen on some of the leaves.  To complete the card, I stamped the small sentiment from the new Autumn Wreath stamp set and added some Espresso Jewels, also using the Glue Dots micro dots – I love how small they are!
