Hello Friends!

I’m here today to share a card for Pretty Pink Posh using their very popular Autumn Wreath stamp and die set.  The main image is a wreath, but there are also individual images, which I’m using today to create a floral spray.  These individual images are larger images than what are used in the wreath image – which I like for some personalization when creating a card.

I started by stamping the images (3 of each) and coloring them with copics in various colors:  E42, E43, E55, E57 (browns), R21, R14, R29, R39 (reds), Y13 (yellow), YR14 (orange), YG05, YG17 (green).  I thought about creating my own wreath, but when I finished die cutting the pieces, I saw it sitting in a pile and envisioned a spray instead.

For the sentiment, I used the Thankful For You Script die.  I die cut the words using gold glitter cardstock and glued them on some black cardstock.  To create the bold background, I simply fussy cut around the script.  Before adhering it to the card base I ink-blended some Bundles Sage Distress Oxide ink from the center and fading out to give the card some color behind the foliage spray.

I adhered the sentiment in the center of the card base using some foam tape and began adhering similar images down  – spacing them out evenly around the sentiment.  When I got to the berries, acorns and flowers, I propped those images up on foam tape as well to give the card more dimension.  To give the card a little more interest, I added glossy accents over the berries and use Nuvo Glitter drops in Gold Coast in surrounding areas and on the sentiment to fill the space in.

I’ll be honest, I had trouble thinking about what I should do with these images because there have been so many wonderful cards made using this set already – so I tried to do something that hasn’t been done yet.  I really hope you enjoyed this card!
