At a recent retreat I attended, I got to meet the owner of Ink Blot Shop.  Tifany is wonderfully kind and I got to play with one of her newest stamp sets – Newborn King. The little sheep were a bit irresistible.

I first stamped and colored the images using Copics. For the background, I ink-blended Distress Oxide Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Salty Ocean, and Faded Jeans, creating a glow for the manger image that I colored. Then I stamped and embossed the sentiment and starts using white embossing powder. I used a stitched rectangle die to frame the card to mat to a card base.

I added the images using foam tape to finish my card. I then decided that I wanted more color and texture – so I added water droplets to the card to give it more interest.
