I’m so excited to share today’s project(s) with you!  The Spellbinders Large Die Kit of the Month is here and it’s sooo much fun!!  I love it so much!  I’ve been making Christmas/holiday cards since July, I think?! Goodness…so making something interactive with this month’s Large Die Kit was refreshing because it’s Advent!  Little tiny boxes you can fill with trinkets and treats, banners, tags, and even cards that you can make!

Look at everything I made!  I didn’t make a banner, but it was so much fun putting the little boxes together.  You can make one for every day in December leading up to Christmas, but I made just a few samples to share today.   I have some retired Stampin’ Up winter patterned paper that I decided to use.  I don’t use patterned paper very much at all so I’m glad I got the opportunity to use it on these.

The little boxes fit into the trees also!  How fun is that?  It’s a different way to display them if you don’t want just the little boxes.  I also think it would be really cute to punch/pierce a little hole on the top tabs of the boxes and tie them on strings and turn them into ornaments!

I used the same tree die to make a shaker card by cutting out a window.  I cut the tree a second time using silver glitter cardstock and cut out the gardland strands to glue on top of the green card layer.  Then I added Ruby Slippers Nuvo Glitter Drops on top of the silver ornaments on the trees.
