Hi Friends!

I’m participating in the Color Throwdown Challenges this month as a guest designer. I’ll be sharing a card every Wednesday this month following a color swatch for the week to bring some inspiration on different color palettes.

Here is this week’s color palette:

I decided to use the Pretty Pink Posh Pumpkin Patch Critters since we’re still in the cusp of fall and Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and this stamp set works for the colors this week.

I stamped the images using Versafine Vintage Sepia ink and water colored the images using Daniel Smith colors. When I was done, I die cut the images using a coordinating die set and add white gel accents to each of the images to help bring them to life.

At first I created a grass/sky scene, but decided to break it up to give it some interest using Pretty Pink Posh’s Storybook 5 dies.  I added some white gel lines to give the images more dimension and then I started assembling my card by propping the die cut panel on top of the watercolored background.  I adhered my images to the card in various places and added some Buttercream Jewels to fill in the “blank” areas.  I hope you enjoyed this card and thanks for stopping by!
