Hello there!

A few days ago, I shared a card made using a new interactive die from My Favorite Things that creates a spinning wheel card.   If you missed that post, you can check it out HERE.  Today, I’m sharing two cards made using their new window dies.  I am loving all these amazing die products!

Both cards are created with alcohol ink backgrounds – super fun and fast drying. I started by creating the alcohol-inked backgrounds first.  I used Stream, Clover, and Mermaid for the Christmas Tree card and Raspberry, Pink Sherbert, and Purple Twilight on the snowflake card.  I set these panels aside to dry while I worked on the card fronts.

For my first card, I used the Christmas Tree Window die.  I die cut the window on a white panel and added Nuvo Glitter Drops in Ruby Slippers and Honey Gold over the ornaments. The star is also a part of the die set and I die cut it using Gold Sparkle Cardstock.  Once done with that – I set it aside to dry and began working on my second card.

For my second card, I used Silver Sparkle Cardstock to cut out the Snowflake Window die. I used the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX die to cut a frame around the card panel and adhered the window frame to a piece of acetate to make a shaker.  I added 3M foam tape and filled the space using 3MM clear cupped sequins before adding it to an A2-sized cardbase.

To finish off these cards, I simply embossed the sentiments from the Santa’s Elves stamp set and cut them into strips to apply on the cards.  Nothing fancy at all and this first card is very clean and simple.
