Hello and welcome to my last Color Throwdown Challenge card. I’m guesting for them this month if you’re joining for the first time. Today’s swatch palette is white, silver and black.
I knew immediately that I wanted to do snowflakes. I was at a retreat last month and got to use all the beautiful Simon Says Stamp snowflake dies. For this project, I used the following dies: Alicia, Rina, Joy, Felicity, Bliss, and Snow Flurries sets. Aren’t the names awesome?
I die cut the snowflakes using Simon Says Stamps glitter cardstock in silver and white and glued them all together in various layers. For the background, I watercolored some black with blue. The sentiment is from the Holiday Words on a Line die set from Simon Says Stamp.
I love this glittery card and I hope you like it too! I ended up adding Wink of Stella clear sparkles on the watercolored panel and die cutting it with a stitched frame before adding the sentiments and snowflakes. Thanks so much for joining me today for my last Color Throwdown card as a guest designer! Have a wonderful day!
XOXO,
A gorgeous wintry wonderland here, Caly! Your snowflakes are gorgeous, falling gently in the night sky! Love this!
