Pretty Pink Posh is having a sale on the Angel Friends set this weekend – no coupon needed! I’m sharing a card today to hopefully inspire you to use this set along with newer products. I gravitate towards shaker cards with Pretty Pink Posh products, so today, I’ve combined the Angel Friends set with the Tree Shaker die.
I started by cutting the shaker die twice – first in green and then in red glitter cardstock so I can layer and cut the sentiment in the center for contrast. I then ink-blended a card layer with Distress Oxide inks to give the background some color (Tumbled Glass, Vintage Photo). Then I die cut the tree shaker in the center to in-lay the green tree over acetate to form the top of the card. On the cardbase, I ink-blended Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink so that the green can show through the open tree shaker window. I spritzed both panels with water droplets to add texture as well.
To fill my shaker, I added transparent sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix and colored sequins from the Berry Bright Confetti Mix to the center of the cardbase. I added 3M foam tape to the entire top panel and secured it over the cardbase to complete card itself.
To adorn my shaker card, I stamped and colored the Angel Friends images using Copic markers (E40, E30, E50, E31, E24, E27, BV00, V25, R20, BG0000, B01, B24, B26, Y06, Y17, R08, R14, R29). The gold used on the ornaments is colored with a Wink of Luna Gold pen/marker. I added white gel highlights then adhered them on the card to finish it off.
