Hello Bluebird – Frosty Littles Holiday Tags

Hello, Friends!

I’m back today with another project for Hello Bluebird and I’ve made tags instead of a card.  The latest release was full of fun stand-alone dies that I didn’t get to use so I decided to focus my next few projects on making things I haven’t gotten a chance to use yet.  One of their stand-alone dies is the Stitched Tag Builder!  I feel like I have a ton of tag dies but they’re ALL different!  Please tell me you know what I’m talking about…because if I think different, the buyer’s remorse hits me HARD!

I knew I wanted to use the cute little snowmen from the Frosty Littles set again, so I stamped a few of them and colored them with Copic markers.  I also knew I wanted to stick with purples – which is a bit different for me to have a color scheme.  I usually color and select colors on a whim as I color.

Colors used:  G03, G09, C00, C0, C2, C4, C7, R05, R29, YR09, Y38, V01, V12, V15, V17, R20, YR30, E30

I also wanted to accent my tags with the new Frosty Flakes snowflake dies, so I cut them out using white glitter and purple glitter cardstock.  I die cut the tags out using plain white cardstock and used dies in the set to cut out windows to build small scenes on each card.

To complete the cards, I stamped a few sentiments from the Typed Christmas set and used a die from the tag die set to cut out the sentiment banners and adhered them to the tags along with the snowmen and accessories using liquid adhesive and foam tape.

I hope you like this tags!  I enjoyed making something different.  I know I made tags for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event in November, but when it’s a personal decision to make tags, it makes it more fun to me!  I hope you’re inspired to make something fun today!

XOXO,

  1. These are super cute tags! Love everything about them … perfect shaped tag die (yes, they’re different!), adorable snowmen, beautiful snowflakes, great simple sentiment font, and amazing coloring as usual! Absolutely love your style! Thank you for the inspiration!

  2. The tags are really cute and the purple color scheme is so pretty. I know what you mean about tag dies. I have many myself and need to use them more but there is always room for 1 more tag die.
