Hello there!

I’m excited to share with you that I am a Spellbinders Glimmer Club Influencer for 2019! That means every month, I’ll be sharing at least one project with you using the Glimmer Club Kit of the Month! It was supposed to start in January but the Glimmer Hot Foil system is so popular that they couldn’t supply anything to me until recently!

This month’s kit includes sentiment plates and two banner/strip dies! Basic sentiments like this are going to be so versatile and I’m so glad to start with this!

It’s my first time playing with the system so I’m glad it wasn’t more involved. I think I tried to do too many sentiments at once…perhaps doing one sentiment at a time for my first try would’ve simplified the process?

I love that the die cuts the sentiments out perfectly. To add more dimension to this card, I die-cut some floral and foliage images using the Heart Like a Wildflower dies from Stephanie Low. I lightly colored them with Distress Oxide Ink in Evergreen Bough and Milled Lavender.

I used the Pinkfresh Studio Indigo Hills 2 collection for today’s card. The patterned paper is so pretty and I have coordinating enamel dots to make this card more cohesive.

I hope to start making videos again soon and can share a detailed process with you – I can’t believe it’s been over 2 years since my last video! Meanwhile, there are lots of tutorials online that you can search for.

Patterned papers really make a quick card – and you can add pops of color with a bold sentiment banner and dimension using other die-cuts as I have above. I hope you enjoyed this project and will follow along the rest of the year as I share a project each month for the Glimmer Foil Club Kits!
