I’m a guest designer for Gina K. Designs today! There was a release last night filled with wonderful new stamps and dies (and wreath builders!) and I have a pleasure of playing with a new set. The Gina K. Designs team is having a blog hop today and I’m excited to join them!
I created this card using the Wonderful World set. I embossed the globe base using gold embossing powder and colored the floral globe using Copic Markers (Y11, Y18, V01, V15, RV11, R85, G14, G21, G82, R05, B21, E23).
The background is ink-blended with Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio – my favorite combination – to create a soft background before spritzing it with water for some extra texture.
I adhered the globe stand with a layer of foam adhesive and the floral globe with two layers of foam adhesive to give it extra dimension. The sentiment is embossed on a strip of vellum using white embossing powder.
To give the card some added interest, I splattered some white paint over it and added some twine with a little bow at the globe’s base and adorned the card with some white jewels and some Nuvo Glitter Drops in Honey Gold.

Wow! That’s one amazing card! Very unique stamps set. Love all of the details of your card … the gold embossed globe base, the double layer of foam adhesive, the vellum strip for the sentiment, I even liked the use of the twine!
