I’m here today to share a card using the new Beautiful Butterflies and Spring Frame die from Pretty Pink Posh.
To create my card, I started by stamping and coloring the butterfly images using Copic markers. I actually colored all the butterflies from this stamp set and created a second card which I will share next week.
After coloring, I die-cut the images and set them aside to work on the background. I used a light mint cardstock and ink-blended it using Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks, blending the lighter color towards the center and the darker Mermaid Lagoon only around the edges.
I used the new Spring Frame die to cut it out of vellum for a soft look to go over the ink-blended panel. Then I stamped the sentiment in the center. I added foam adhesive to my butterflies and adhered them over the vellum to secure it to the ink-blended panel. The vellum is further secured down with jewels from the Valentines Mix.
