Pretty Pink Posh – Magnolia Flowers

Hi, Friends!

I’m here to share a card for Pretty Pink Posh using the new Magnolia Flowers stamp set.

I painted my flowers using Daniel Smith watercolors and die cut the images using the coordinating Magnolia Flowers dies. I couldn’t fit them on an A2 sized panel to my liking, so I decided to create a slimline card (4″ x 8.5″).

I ink-blended the background using Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink and sprayed some water droplets on the panel to give it some texture. I also splattered some watered-down white acrylic paint as well.

Once the paint was dry, I arranged my flowers and leaves along the left side and bottom of the card. Some of the images are adhered using foam adhesive and some are adhered directly to the card panel.

The sentiment is stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink from the Encouraging Greetings stamp set. Then it is finished with jewels from the Valentine Jewel Mix.
