Welcome to another My Monthly Hero release! There isn’t a a traditional “hop” today, but you can see all the inspiration with a full list of participants from the Hero Arts Blog. We’re having fun creating jungle-themed cards! My card is more tropical-themed, so you can get creative with it!
The kit comes with a stencil this month, so I used it to create my background with some Hero Hues Reactive inks in Fog and Green Apple. I first apply the Fog ink for a soft green layer all over, then applied the stencil and ink-blended Green Apple over it to reveal the leafy pattern.
For my images, I stamped and colored the images using Copic markers (R85, R22, R30, G16, G03, G19, G85, BG96, G94, YG61, W1, C4, C6). After die-cutting the images, I set them aside to create another card layer – a white panel with a circle cut out using the Nesting Infinities Circle Dies.
I stamped my sentiment in Intense Black ink at the bottom and adhered it over my stenciled background using foam adhesive. My images are also adhered using foam adhesive around the bottom of the circle window for extra dimension with the flamingo at the center.

I am so excited for the stencil since I just got tonic glimmer and Gina k glitter gel and can use them on this.
Flamingo is one of my obvious choices also they are quite fascinating and beautiful.
