Hi, Friends!

I’m excited to be doing the 1 Stamp, 3 Ways series for The Stamp Market again!  This month’s stamp set is a floral layering set of the beautiful Handpainted Garden. 

I’m using various inks to stamp these beautiful flowers and foliage around the Handwritten Thanks die-cut sentiment.  The sentiment is a layer of black and white for the halo and 2 layers of black for the script itself. I used a pencil to trace the outer edge of the sentiment at the center of my card panel first so I stayed out of the area while stamping my flowers and foliage and adhered to the finished card panel at the end just before adorning it with the dew drops.

I started with the bigger flowers, then stamped the foliage and smaller flowers to fill the space between each image.  It creates a beautiful and colorful background to highlight the sentiment.  To finish off my card, I also added Clear Droplets from The Stamp Market to further fill in any open spaces.
