I’m participating in another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. The current challenge is Something See-Through. It’s so fun!

I’ve had the Shadow Box Card die set for a long time and finally broke it out to use it for today’s card. I also used the Shadow Box Card Park Add-On to give my shadow box card some fun elements.

I started by constructing my shadowbox card first. Using the Park Add-On, I die cut the grass three times using green Spiffy Speckles cardstock. Before attaching the box end to end, I also lined the inside of my box with some white with blue speckles from the same patterned paper pack. Then I die-cut the tree parts using light brown and green cardstock. To give them more color and dimension, I ink-blended the edges with Gathered Twigs and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks.

I used the Mushroom Border die to add mushrooms to my center grass panel. I die-cut the base in white and the mushroom tops in red and adhered the two pieces together before adding it to the back of my center grass panel. Then I stamped my sentiment on the grass panel I planned to layer on the outside of my box. Once all these pieces were done, I attached all my pieces to construct my box.

Then to decorate the rest of my card, I stamped and colored images from the Oh Gnome and Butterfly Kisses sets with Copic markers (R20, RV13, RV25, RV11, R85, V01, V04, BG11, BG13, R05, R27, B21, B24, B26, E50, E31, E35, E25, G03, Y08, B000, B0000). After coloring, I die-cut the images out and began decorating my box. The two butterflies in the center are adhered to acetate strips so they look like they’re floating.
