I’m sharing my projects for Spellbinders today! This month’s Large Die of the Month is a fun one! Who doesn’t love mushrooms and gnomes?
Lots of die-cutting but worth it if you enjoy the process!
I die-cut everything from colored cardstock (except the mushroom backing) and ink-blended the mushrooms and gnome hat, clothes and body parts with a matching ink to give it some extra dimension.
The sentiment is stamped from Lawn Fawn’s “Oh, Gnome!” stamp set. I had to do some partial stamping so it would all fit on the sign, but it worked out!
To create my background, I used a grassy stencil and ink-blended the ground and sky. This card is packed with layers of paper and dimension!
This month’s Glimmer Hot Foil Kit is super classy and elegant. I’m creating a simple card that repeats the center foil plate – first on white cardstock and the center on light blue cardstock to die-cut and adhere with foam adhesive for more dimension.
I chose blue because it compliments the Teal Foil well. After adhering the center foiled frame, I also foiled the sentiment and adhered that with foil. To add some delicate touches, I added a few drops of teal glitter drops.
