Hello, Friends!!!

I have some exciting news to share with you! I’m now a design team member for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge Team! I’m absolutely thrilled and love being able to make more Lawn Fawn cards to share with you! Today’s theme is Awesome Autumn! For my card today, I used the Thanks a Bushel set. I love this bushel of apples and it definitely screams autumn to me!

I kept it “simple” but wanted it to be fun too, so I used the For You Deer set to show the bear popping up and sneaking an apple for himself using the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On dies.

It’s just a simple bushel of apples when you slide down the pull tab to it’s resting position.

I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers, then die-cut all the pieces to work on my background, which is ink-blended with Distress Oxide inks. I also splattered it with water and white ink to give it some interest.

Copic colors used:
Apples:  R21, R24, R29, E51, E21
Leaves:  G03, G19
Basket:  C2, C5, C8, E31, E34, E25
Bear:  R20, E41, E31, E34

Background:
Vintage Photo, Cracked Pistaschio, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers.

After creating the background, I die-cut my pull tab mechanism and ink-blended the pull tab to match my card background. Then I started assembling by adhering the bear with his apples to the pull-tab itself and then adhered the bushel of apples over it with foam adhesive to give the bear room to move freely. The banner is from the Double Slider Surprise die set. I used a sentiment from the Thanks a Bushel set and manipulated it so that it curved with the banner strip.
