My Favorite Things – October 2019 Release: 1 Day Until the New Release

Are you excited for the next My Favorite Things release? Tomorrow is the big day!! I’m sharing a card made using ‘Tis the Season today. If you love snowmen and Santa, you’ll love this one!

I used the frame from the Blueprints 27 Die-namics to create my card today to give it some lines and interest. My images are first stamped and colored with Copic markers. After coloring, I die-cut the images and added some glitter over the white areas of Santa’s suit and on the snowman’s hat.

To create my background, I centered the frame from the Blueprints 27 die on a white piece of cardstock and ran it through my die-cutting machine. I kept the outer frame but saved the inside pieces for a later use. I added foam adhesive to the frame itself then set it aside for later.

Reds: R05, R29
Oranges: Y17, YR16
Greens: G21, G46
Teals: BG11, BG13, BG49
Blues: B05, B18
Purples: V01, V04, V09
Pinks: RV11, R85, R20
Browns: E30, E33
Grays: C0, C2, C4, C6, C8

On a folded card base, I ink-blended Worn Lipstick and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered it with some water and white ink before adding the outer frame, and then the frame with foam adhesive. To finish, I added the images I colored and then stamped the sentiment in the bottom rectangle.
