My Favorite Things – Wednesday Sketch Challenge #458 – Fairy-Tale Friends

I’m participating in this week’s My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge. I hope my interpretation of this week’s sketch works (it’s all subjective and that’s what makes it fun, right?)

I’ve created a card using the Fairy-Tale Friends set and used the Stitched Cloud Edges to represent the horizontal line at the bottom of the sketch.

For the horizontal line, I used sun rays and made sure there was one going right up where it is in the sketch photo (*little giggle*).

I stamped and colored my unicorn using Copics (C1, C3, C5, RV11, R85, Y15, Y38, BG11, BG34, B00, B12, V000, V01). I added some shimmer to the hair and then die-cut the image as well as the cloud borders.

I ink-blended the Sunrise Radiating Rays using Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink, first with a light coat, then heavier with the stencil over the lightly ink-blended background. Then I adhered my clouds over the background and trimmed my panel to mat and A2-sized card base. The final step was to add my unicorn and embossed sentiment strip from the Rainbow Greetings stamp set.
