Hi, Friends!!!
Pinkfresh Studio has released a new line of ink pads and they are so beautiful in every way! I hope you’re excited because you’ll have the option to get full sized pads or mini ink cubes! I’ve used the inks today to do lots of ink-blending for my card.

I die-cut my Layered Wreath in various colors and ink-blended the wreath pieces in green ink. After ink-blending, I adhered the smaller wreath pieces onto the main wreath and added my berries. The little bird is from the Cozy Christmas Wishes set. I felt the wreath needed a little ornament of some sort so I quickly colored it using a few Copic markers to add to my wreath (R05, R29, G21, G46).

I added some glitter drops to my berries and covered the bird with clear lacquer before setting it aside to work on my background. To ink-blend, I started with an A2-sized card panel in light pink cardstock. I used Berrylicious ink to ink-blend all the way around the panel, leaving the opening where the wreath would be placed. Then I splattered the panel with water droplets and white ink. I also splattered white ink over the wreath as well for more interest.

I stamped the sentiment in the center of the wreath from the Season’s Greetings stamp set and embossed it with gold embossing powder before adding the wreath to my card using foam adhesive to give it dimension. Lastly, I die-cut the words “Be merry” from the Classic Holiday Words set using vellum and gold glitter paper to adhere at the bottom of my card.
I know inks are often used for layered stamping, but I wanted to show you that ink-blending is a great way to use your dye inks too! As you can see with my water, it’s also reactive! Also – I hear they don’t stain your stamps :).
I hope you enjoyed this card! I hope you’ll find lots of inspiration along today’s blog hop. Be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win a prize!
