Hello, Friends!
My Favorite Things has opened up their vault this month to share a well-loved design for the holidays. The Merry Christmoose set is super cute and I hope you’ll welcome it’s arrival in the MFT Boutique once more!

To create my Christmoose scene, I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers. I tried to keep the color palette bold, but limited to a few color families.
Copic colors used:
Pinks/Reds: R20, R21, R22, R05, R29
Yellows/Orange: Y15, Y17
Teals/Greens: G00, BG11, BG15, BG23, BG18, G46
Blues: B01, B04, B06
Grays: B01, B04, B06
Browns: E00, E30, E31, E33, E35, E23, E17, E18

After coloring my images, I die-cut them and added white gel highlights to the images. I also aded some fine glitter to the star and moose’s Santa hat using liquid adhesive (glitter drops would work just as great). To create my background, I ink-blended a white panel with Distress Oxide Inks using Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet and Seedless Preserves. Using Tattered Rose first, I ink-blended the bottom 1/3 of the card, then worked in with Victorian Velvet up another 1/3 of the way, then finished with Seedless Preserves.

Next, I stamped and embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder. Then, I splattered my panel with some dark purple and white acrylic inks. While it dry, I began preparing my images- grouping them together to adhere to the ink-blended panel with foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed this card! Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the projects the MFT design team has created to inspire you! Thank you so much for stopping by today!
