My Favorite Things – November 2019 Release: 2 Days Until the New Release -Impressive Snowflake

We’ve got 2 days left until the next release. Something MFT is really excited about this month is the introduction of new foil plates! MFT will now carry the Gemini Foil Press and Foil to coordinate with “Impressive” foil plates.

My card today uses the new Impressive Snowflake that I foiled with silver foil over light blue card stock (Sno Cone). After foiling, I ink-blended around the snowflake with Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks – this provides a glow around the snowflake and really makes it front and center.

After ink-blending, I splattered the panel with water and white paint. I trimmed the space around the snowflake to clean up the edges. There was a lot of space above my snowflake initially on an A2-sized panel, so I actually cut off a half an inch so this card is a half an inch smaller than a standard A2-sized card.

I die-cut the word Believe from white and teal glitter from the Color Celebration Glitter Card Stock. I adhered the two layers together, slightly off set to help the word pop over the teal background too. My sentiment strip is inked with Tropical Teal ink using a stamp from the Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set.
