My Favorite Things – Wednesday Sketch Challenge #465 – Birth-YAY

Hi, Friends!

Welcome to another Wednesday Sketch Challenge for MFT!

For today’s challenge, instead of using a tag, I used an elongated hexagon from the Blueprints 33 set. I also used a stamp from the Birth-YAY set to decorate this panel.

I stamped and colored my image with Copic markers before die-cutting and adding white gel highlights with my Unibal White gel pen.

Copics:
Grays:  C3, C6, C8, W0, W1 W3, W5
Greens:  G21, G24, G29, G14, G16, G19
Browns:  E30, E33, E34, E35, E37
Yellows/Oranges: Y11, Y15, YR16
Reds:  R01, R20, R22, R24, R27
Teals:  BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18

My card panel is ink-blended with Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral about 3/4 of the way across. I sprayed it with water for some extra interest before adding a vellum strip on the left side to add the vertical element from the sketch.

Finally, I ink-blended my hexagon piece at the bottom with some Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink before adhering my colored image. Then I adhered this piece on my card panel with foam adhesive for some dimension. The sentiment is stamped and embossed in white over black cardstock and adhered to my card using foam adhesive to match the height of my focal image.

I hope you liked this card! Be sure to play along for your chance to win a gift voucher to the MFT Boutique!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
