There are two new diagonal stripe dies and I’ve created candy cane patterns to share with you today.

My first card uses the Fancy Diagonal Stripes Die along with the Sparkle with Magic stamp set. I started by die-cutting the Fancy Diagonal Stripes die using white cardstock. To create the red stripes, I used a piece of pink cardstock and ink-blended it with Candied Apple Ink. The frame is adhered to the ink-blended panel with foam adhesive. It gives the card an extra glow and dimension.

I embossed the sentiment from the Sparkle with Magic stamp set in gold over white cardstock and used the residual ink from my dauber to add some read around my sentiment panel. Then to give my frame some interest, I die-cut some foliage from the Hello with Botanicals die-set and adhered it underneath the sentiment panel all the way around. Lastly, I added some green jewels to give it an additional pop of color.

My second card uses the Diagonal Stripes with Window and did the same thing as I did before with a piece of pink ink-blended cardstock. Again, this is popped up on top of the ink-blended panel with foam adhesive for dimension.

The word Joy is cut from the Adore Alpha that I die-cut in white and gold cardstock. I used the gold to frame the letters as an accent and adhered them to the window using foam adhesive. To finish, I used green jewels to embellish my card.
