I’m here to share a quick and easy card with you using the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Tree die. It makes for a pretty layered Christmas tree and I’ve kept it pretty clean and simple for today’s card – which is definitely inspired by Laura Bassen!
I die-cut my tree layers from 4 different colors of green cardstock and layered them together by adding adhesive at the top of each piece. The very top piece is adorned with a glitter gold star.
To decorate my tree, I glued down miniature red pom poms – Laura made an amazing card with rainbow pompoms that she actually threaded! It’s genius. I wanted my card to be a little different, so I used just red pom poms.
I added white gel highlights to my tree and then adhered it to a card panel matted for an A2 sized cardbase using foam adhesive to give it some dimension. My sentiment is from the Caroling Critters – I embossed it in white over black cardstock and trimmed it to fit at the bottom of the tree.
