The Greetery – Winter Medley

Hi, Friends!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Our family celebrated Christmas early because my husband has to work this week. So while people were busy celebrating, I gave myself some time to play before diving into next month’s projects for design teams. What better to play with than The Greetery stamps and dies that I’ve been coveting and collecting?

I used quite a few different products for my card today – when you don’t have a lot of time to play – play with as much as you can, right? I have wanted to play with the BotaniCuts Pine Bough set so I started with that. I die-cut the pines and cones and added some color using Distress Oxide Inks (Pine Needles and Gathered Twigs).

After adhering the elements together to create my pine branches and pine cones, I added some additional color to the pine cones using brown colored pencil. To give the branches and cones some sparkle and the look of shimmery snow, I added some fine glitter to the edges using clear adhesive.

To fill in my scene, I stamped the robins from the Robin & Wren set as well as the Blooming Branches. For my background, I ink-blended Festive Berries and Spun sugar. Then I watered down some Festive Berries ink and splattered it over my panel along with some white paint for interest.

Before adhering my images to my background panel, I die-cut the panel with the Crimped Frame to give it some additional texture. To give my images lots of dimension, I adhered them layers using foam adhesive. The final touch was to add the sentiment – which I stamped using the Sentiment Suites: Christmas set.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hop you enjoyed this card!
