My Favorite Things – Wednesday Sketch Challenge #469 – Magical Friends

Hi, Friends!

Merry Christmas! Hope you’re all having an amazing day with family and/or friends. It’s also Wednesday and that means there’s a new Wednesday sketch challenge! Hopefully you’ll find time between today and New Years Day to create something fun!

I thought this month’s Magical Friends set would be perfect for this sketch challenge – in the sky.

I colored my image with Copic markers.

Dragon: RV91, RV93, RV95, BV00, BV02, BV04, BV08
Girl: RV11, R85, E55, E57, E59, R20
Skin: R20, E00, E30
Book: R32, R35, R39

The cloud background is ink-blended with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink using the Cloud stencil. Then the larger cloud the girl and her dragon are sitting on is die-cut from a Stitched Cloud Edge die.

For staggering clouds to match today’s sketch, I die-cut the Cute Cloud Outlines and lightly ink-blended them with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink so they’d stand out a little more over the white cloud. I stamped the sentiment before adhering the cloud and image over the stenciled background using foam adhesive for some dimension and interest.
