Hi Friends!

Winter is not quite over and I wanted to squeeze in a few more before the holidays are over. Today, I’m sharing a Pretty Pink Posh card made using the Winter Wreath set.

Doesn’t look like a wreath because I’ve used the accessory stamps to create my own arrangement. I’ve done this before with other wreath sets by Pretty Pink Posh and had to do the same for this stamp set – it really stretches the use of that stamp set!

I started by stamping and coloring my images with Copic markers.

Poinsettia/Large Berries:  YG01, YG05, R83, R85, R89
Little Berries:  R32, R35
Tri-leaf:  G03, G07
Single Leaf:  YG06, YG09
Pine:  G94
Mistletoe/Holly:  G21, G24, G28

After coloring, I die-cut all the individual images and set them aside to work on my background and sentiment. The background is ink-blended on a diagonal with Victorian Velvet and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks. I sprayed the panel with some water and began adhering my images (some directly to the panel, some with foam adhesive). Then I added white gel highlights over the images and splattered white paint over it for interest. I also sprayed shimmer mist all over it and I wish that could be captured in the photos better! To finish, I stamped and embossed my white sentiment over rose-colored cardstock.
