Today starts a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! This challenge runs for two weeks and ends on February 2nd at 11:59pm PST. It’s a fun one and we hope you’ll play along. The team and I are sharing cards that are “For the Birds!”
I went through my stash and decided to use the Get Well Before N Afters set – I have never gotten the chance to use it so it’s perfect for me. It has also been a while since I’ve used the Magic Picture Changer dies so I was excited to play and make this card interactive. I’ve paired my card with the Elphie Selfie set to add another bird and also the Get Well Soon set for a third bird.
I stamped my images and colored them all with Copic markers. For the Before N After images, I stamped them on cardstock big enough to cut my mechanism and did some masking to ink-blend Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks around the images as well as my Magic Picture Changer Add-On frame. I sprayed each panel with water to give it some texture and allowed it to dry before putting it all together.

Large Rx Bottle: B0000, B00, W0, W2, R21, R24
Small Rx Bottle: E11, E13, W0, W2, R21, R24
After putting my Magic Picture Changer together, I added foam adhesive to the back and adhered it over a piece of Perfectly Plaid Spring patterned paper die-cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangles.
I stamped my sentiment on the Fancy Folded Banner and attached it to the top of my card before arranging my images on the picture changing portion of my card to finish. I really hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to play along! I had so much fun making it – I love the Magic Picture Changing Mechanism and the soft colors of the Perfectly Plaid background paper speaks to my well-loved color palette. I can’t wait to see what you all make!
