Welcome to an exciting Pinkfresh Studio release!  This release is packed full of beautiful stamps and dies and we hope this blog hop will inspire you!  Today, I’m sharing two floral cards using the Simple Blossoms set a well as the Just Because set and adding sentiment dies also from the release.  Let’s dive right in and talk about each card.

My first card uses the Simple Blossoms set.   This is a layering set and I’ve used Pinkfresh Studio inks to stamp my layers.  After stamping, I die-cut my images and prepared my background by using Mermaid Cover ink to ink-blend an ombre gradient from bottom fading towards the top.

I adhered all images, some using foam adhesive for dimension and die-cut the sentiment from the Phrase Builder:  You set.  Before die-cutting the word in light pink cardstock, I first ink-blended it with Bubble Gum ink to again, create a gradient so the word appears darker at the bottom.  I kept the halo white to help it stand out over the floral background. 

My second card uses the Just Because set – I stamped the large floral cluster with black ink and colored it with Copic markers. After die-cutting my image, I added some white gel highlights.  I usually add lines, but for this card, I added dots instead. 

Copics:  G20, G21, G24, G28, YG61, YG63, YG67, RV11, RV13, RV17, RV19

Over some light brown/gray cardstock, I ink-blended one corner with Sparkling Rose and Raspberry Bliss ink.  I die-cut it with the Stitched Rectangles die, then splattered it with some white ink before adhering my floral image over it.  My sentiment is using the Sentiment Suite:  Happy Birthday die – I die-cut it in black and white cardstock to offset for a drop shadow and stamped the leading sentiment in Raspberry Bliss Ink over white cardstock and adhered it to my card with foam adhesive.

Both my cards are embellished with Pinkfresh Studio Jewels for a final touch.
