Hi, Friends!
Wednesday Sketch Challenges are quickly becoming my favorite norm! It pushes me to use older sets that I’ve never used before and try new layouts that I’ve never done myself! This week’s sketch is not too challenging, in my opinion, so I hope you’ll play along!

My card today uses the Otterly in Love set and I’ve colored my images using Copic markers.
Rock: W0, W2, W4, W6, R20
Otter: E30, E31, E24
Fish: Y15, Y19, YR18

I used the rock from the set to replicate the panels in the background. Then I ink-blended a panel for my images using Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink and sprayed it with water to add texture.

I stamped my sentiment in the upper portion of my panel after die-cutting it with a smaller Inside Out Stitched Rectangle STAX die. Then, I adhered 2 fish in the bottom right hand corner and attached die-cut wave vellum pieces over the bottom portion of my panel.

I placed my otter in between the two vellum layers for interest to show him and his fish friend jumping up out of the water for a high-five! I think it’s so sweet and I hope you like it!
Be sure to play along for your chance to win a $50 giftcard to the MFT boutique!

A really cute card and play on words with the Otter. I love the vellum waves.
