A new My Monthly Hero Kit is here and I have to say that I love this kit and think you will too!

The other day, I shared a card during the Hero Arts Countdown on the Hero Arts Blog. I made a card with purple trees to change things from the usual pink cherry blossoms, but my card today shares a field of cherry blossoms in the more traditional colors.

This card is created with simple stamp layering – two layers for each image except the tree trunk – which I gave dimension to with some sponging.

I stamped enough for 3 trees to layer on my card. I wanted a soft sunset glow, so I ink-blended the background with Fresh Peach, Cotton Candy, and Soft Pool ink after stamping the grass.

After adhering my images, some with foam adhesive for dimension, I stamped my sentiment using the Red Royal ink from the darkest layer of my trees.
