My Favorite Things – Wednesday Sketch Challenge #480 – Critter Condolences

Welcome to another Wednesday Sketch Challenge with MFT!

I couldn’t figure out what to do with this sketch, then came across the Paw Prints Die-namics that had these cute little paw print medallions that I thought were perfect for this sketch.

I used the Critter Condolences stamp set to create my own patterned paper using a few MFT inks. I hand-drew the stitching to give it a more definitive border and used the diagonal Black and White Stripes Patterned Paper for the piece on the end.

I die-cut my large paw twice, once in black and once in white. I ink-blended the white pieces with Kraft ink and then adhered them over the black pieces, off-setting them to give them a shadow so they could stand out more. My sentiment is simple stamped and die-cut with a sentiment strip and everything was assembled to match the sketch!
