We’re celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh release today! Paulina, the owner recently had a baby so we’re not having a blog hop – I hope you’ll see all the wonderful inspiration on Instagram!
I always blog my projects – I feel it’s an important place to document my work and share with you how I create my cards! I’m not much of a stencil user – mostly because I forget, but this Crocus Stencil is beautiful and I had to play with it as soon as I opened my package.
I masked off the leaves from the flower too ink-blend each portion. The green is ink-blended with Lucky Clover and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks and the purple with Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Inks.
After ink-blending, I added some colored pencils to give the petals more depth. To finish, I embossed a sentiment from the Hedgehog Friends stamp set and added a few Pansy Purple Jewels.
