Hello, Friends!
It’s release day for the MFT Icing on the Cupcake Card Kit! I’ve got three cards that I made to celebrate the release but will talk about just one today. I’ve got another blog post tomorrow sharing details on the other two cards 🙂
I used the shaker pouches to make a shaker card for one of my cards (top right), then used the Confetti stencil for a fun background for my second card (bottom right). Today’s card is a fun and wonky design of falling cupcakes and confetti.
When I sat down to make these cards, I die-cut a bunch of cupcake pieces and used them all – so the cards coordinate. For this card, I lined up the pieces on a matted card front and used a pencil to draw lines so I could slice up my images. After ink-blending the background with my stencil, I adhered my cupcakes over the stenciled area with foam adhesive.
I stamped my sentiment and added my cherries for a finishing touch. I also die-cut a bunch of cherries and flooded them with clear lacquer to let them dry overnight- they are the perfect touch to these cupcakes!
I hope you enjoyed my projects! Don’t forget to shop!

Great cards! While I already own other cupcake dies, I love that this kit has coordinating shaker pouches. Very tempting.

This cupcake die is twice the size. I would love to make a card with both sizes sometime!
