Hi, Friends!

I’m on the Simon Says Stamp Blog today representing Lawn Fawn! It’s such a fun opportunity for me and I wanted to make a card that shares all the wonderful things I love about Lawn Fawn – adorable images and fun interactive dies!

I used two different sets for my Double Slider Surprise card today – combining the Oh, Gnome! and Fairy Friends sets. I think it’s the perfect combination for a spring card!

I started by stamping and coloring all my images with Copic makers.

Copic Markers Used:
Skin:  E00, E51, E04, R20
Pinks:  RV11, R85, RV00, RV02, RV04, RV09
Purples:  V01, V04, V09
Browns:  E50, E31, E35, E37
Grays:  C2, C5, C7
Greens:  YG11, G03, G09 G28, G29
Reads:  R22, R24, R29, R59
Yellows:  Y000, Y35
Blues:  B00, B21, B24, B28
Teals:  BG11, BG34

When done coloring and die-cutting, I began working on my Mushroom House by die-cutting my pieces using Lawn Fawn cardstock (Chili Pepper, Cilantro, Mermaid, Guava, Sticky Note, Vanilla Malt, Black Licorice, Storm Cloud, Woodgrain Neutrals). I adhered all the elements together and set it aside to work on my double slider mechanism.

Using my Double Slider Surprise dies, I die-cut all the elements and and constructed my card referring THIS Lawn Fawn video. My sky is ink-blended using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink and I die-cut the Grassy Border using Cilantro cardstock.

I had so much fun creating the three coordinating scenes for my card today – each of the little panels come together to create a wonderful spring scene with the mushroom house, fairies and gnomes! It’s wonderful that the two other panels can be tucked away under the center panel as a surprise and can stand on it’s own!
