My Favorite Things – May Vault Release Countdown – Life is a Picnic

Hi, Friends!

MFT has so many great products that they occasionally like open up the Vault to bring back old favorites! This month, there are fun spring products as well as masculine products perfect for Father’s Day! Today, I’m sharing a card made using the Life is a Picnic set!

To create my picnic scene, I used the Tucked-In Turf- Vertical Die-namics. I love that I can tuck in my basket and flowers into the grass panel cut from this die! I ink-blended both the grass panel and the background using Distress Oxide Inks.

Lots of texture is created with splatters both of water and watered-down Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Bundled Sage, Lucky Clover). Images are colored with Copic markers.

Copic Combinations:
Skin:  E000, E00, E51, E11, R20
Hair:  E23, E25, E29
Yellows/Oranges:  Y00, Y15, Y38
Basket:  E30, E31, E35
Blues:  BG0000, BG01, BG02, BG07
Purples:  B01, V05
Teals:  BG10, BG11, BG13
Pinks:  RV10, RV11, R85
Denim:  B91, B93, B97, B00
Greens:  G24 G28

The Vault officially opens up on Tuesday, May 19th at 10am EST! Join me back here tomorrow for another Vault sneak peek!
