Hi, Friends!
The MFT Sketch Challenge this week greets us with a large balloon! I’ve created a birthday card using the Perfect-Fit Balloon as well as a few others stenciled on for additional color and interest.

I started by die-cutting my large balloon using Tickled pink cardstock using the Perfect-Fit Die-namics. To give it additional color, I ink-blended around it with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink.

Before adhering it in place, I stenciled on balloons using the Big Balloons Stencil with Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks.

I drew on some balloon strands using a drawing pen, then adhered my big pink balloon using foam adhesive to give it more dimension.

My sentiments are embossed on black cardstock using the Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set. Too ensure all my stripes were the same size, I iused the Skinny Strips Die-namics to die-cut each strip before trimming them down in my trimmer for the perfect length. I finished by attaching them to my card using foam adhesive.

It looks like a fairly simple card, but I fussed around with placement before deciding and it always takes me a while to commit – do you do that? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this project! Thanks so much for stopping by!
