Hi, Friends!
Welcome to Day Two of the Pretty Pink Posh’s June Release Blog Hop! The release is inspired by Paulina’s baby’s nursery (that’s the owner of Pretty Pink Posh). How fun to have a bunch of jungle sets that not only make for great baby cards, but every day cards as well!
My card today features a few new products for a clean and simple design. I love these monkeys from the Monkey Friends set. I stamped and colored them along with the bananas using Copic markers.
Copic markers used:
Blush: R01, R20
Monkeys: E50, E21, E30, E30, E33, E25, E29
Bananas: YG23, YG21, Y06, Y15
My background is ink-blended first with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink, then stenciled using the Jungle Background stencil using Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink.
I attached my images with foam adhesive and finished my card by trimming it down to mat it to a piece of coordinating green cardstock – then matted that onto a white cardbase. My sentiment is embossed from the new sentiment set called Simple Sentiments. Finally, I embellished my card with some Shamrock Jewels.
