Hero Arts & Ink Blot Shop – Please Deliver

Hi Friends!

Hero Arts celebrated 45 years in the industry and has been collaborating with other companies to create Partners sets. The set I’m using today is the Please Deliver set created in collaboration with Ink Blot Shop! There are decorative border stamps and other cute images for envelope art – or you could create fun cards with them too!

To stamp my images, I first stamped the row of colored pencils at the bottom of my envelope. Then I stamped it again on a piece printer paper and cut around the points to create a mask for the notebook paper stamp. Then I stamped the “please deliver to:” sentiment.

I used Copic markers to color my stamped image today. There were lots of colors and it would’ve been very burdensome to keep track of it all so i didn’t write them down this time. Also, I want to note that I used a regular cheap envelope for my project today. Hindsight, I should’ve cut and made an envelope from Copic-friendly cardstock. I slid a piece of cardstock into the envelope before I started coloring to catch any bleeding through the envelope paper. Because it is so thin, it definitely bled and the coloring was very swift since not much blending was required.

What a fun way to spruce up any envelope – especially when there’s a cute stamp set! I hope you liked this project! I think this particular image (images) would make for a fun teachers/student card with a school-themed sentiment!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
