Hi, Friends!

It’s the first Monday of the month – that means it’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! The theme for the next two weeks is an inspiration board – so choose the colors or the photo as your inspiration!

I decided to use the colors to create an evening sky for my card today using Distress Oxide Inks (Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Tumbled Glass, Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch). I also created my ground using Tea Dye and Gathered Twigs. To give the colors more vibrancy, I covered my ink-blending with a light layer of Distress Glaze.

My images are stamped and colored with Copic markers. I used a combination of Coaster Critters, Happy Village, and Car Critters.

Copic colors used:
Fox:  E11, E13, E15
Blues:  [B0000, B00, B02], [B24, B28, B29]
Yellows:  Y00, Y06, Y17
Browns/Bear:  E30, E31, E33, E37
Greens:  YG23, G14, G17
Pinks:  RV10, RV11, RV14
Grays/Bunny:  C0, C2, C4, C6
Reds:  R22, R24, R27
Blush:  R20

After die-cutting all the images, I started by adhering the smaller portion of the roller coaster first – directly to the background. Then I added the main coaster using foam adhesive for dimension. Next, I added my trees and coaster cars. Lastly, I adhered my critters and the ticket booth.

I had plenty of space at the top of my card for a sentiment and decided I wanted to emboss it directly to my card panel in white.
