Hi Friends!

The Simon Says Stamp September 2020 card kit is here! I love the kit contents and once I started creating, more ideas came to me and I ended up making three!

My first card uses the Sending Smiles die – simply cut in black and white cardstock and adhered over a piece of patterned paper from the American Crafts Vicki Boutin Let’s Wander 6″ x 8″ paper. To embellish, I added new sequins from the Smiles Sequin Mix.

My second card uses the Just Miss You stamp set. I started by stamping and embossing the images over white cardstock. Before ink-blending, I masked off the hearts and ink-blended the background with Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, and Peacock Feathers. I splattered the panel with water and white paint before peeling off my mask. Then I colored the hearts with Copic markers (R22, R24, R27) and the little people with a black marker. My panel is then adhered over another piece of dark red patterned paper.

I opened the pack of American Crafts Vicki Boutin Let’s Wander Mini Cards and Envelopes and loved being able to pull out the little notes. I adhered them all to a white panel, with three of the envelopes open so you can pull out the notes. The sentiments are embossed from the Just Miss You stamp set.
