Simon Says Stamp – Detail Medallion

Hi, Friends!

It’s been a long time since I’ve done any stitching on cards. The recent Simon Says Stamp Release is filled with lots of fun detail (pierced) dies that are great for stitching if you like that! Of course, not stitching is beautiful too because the details really are amazing!

I started by die-cutting my Detail Medallion in white and adding color using Copic markers (R30, R32, R35). After adding the color, I stitched through all the holes on each petal.

It was a labor of love! Once done, I set it aside to work on my background. since it resembles a flower, I needed leaves! The Outline Clustered Leaves die is one of my favorites and it’s what I went for to create a soft look behind the bold medallion.

I layered everything over a piece of Fog cardstock matted over an A2-sized card base and finished by adding a few jewels throughout. I hope you enjoyed this card! Thanks so much for stopping by!
