The Gina K. Designs release is wonderful and I’ve created another project to share with you. I love barn decor – and I love the use of large wagon wheels to decorate outside and in! I searched for ideas and found that the Wildflowers and Weeds set is perfect for creating a wagon wheel wreath!

I stamped lots of foliage and flowers and colored with Copic markers. The wagon wheel is a solid stamp, so I stamped that with a dark brown. After die-cutting all the images, I used a craft knife to to cut out the center of the wheel between the spokes of the wheel because I wanted it to be more 3 dimensional – so I could also add color to the background of the card.

I ink-blended the center of a card panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and adhered the wheel to the center of the card using one foam dot in the center of the wheel – this way, I still freely tuck images around the wheel where I wanted my wreath.

I adhered the foliage on bottom and top of the wheel, then attached the flowers using foam adhesive for dimension. Where extra dimension is needed around the wheel, I went ahead and added foam adhesive also. Too finish, I embossed the sentiment in white over black cardstock and attached it to the top left hand corner of my card to balance it out since the foliage is bottom right-heavy.
