Welcome back! Today, I’m sharing a simple card using the Simon Says Stamp Large Outline Happy die to create a bold, yet simple card.

I first die-cut the beautiful Detail Petal Plate using a white A2-sized panel – it pierces the cardstock all the way through, leaving a delicate pattern is gorgeous for any subtle background! I left that as is because I knew all the coloring would happen with the Large Outline Happy die.

I die-cut the Large Outline Happy die twice – once in black and once in white. Then on a piece of scrap cardstock, I adhered first the black background, then in-lay the white outlines and black negatives. I even put black letters back in to make sure everything was lined up properly and to give my rainbow letters a shadow – if viewed from different angles.

My white letters are then colored with Copic markers and adhered over their spaces using foam adhesive. To give them some sparkle, I added Nuvo Aqua Shimmer over them. I didn’t feel it needed additional sentiments and finished with that!
