Hey Friends!

Last night, the Simon Says Stamp September release was revealed! So many amazing products to share with you so I wanted to share one of the most exciting things about this release for me – new slimline dies! I used the new Slimline Borders and Edges dies to create my rainbow card today.

I used the rainbow scallop die and die-cut it from 3/4″ x 8.5″ strips of colored Simon Says Stamp colored cardstock (Poppy, Cotton Candy, Lemon Chiffon, Green Leaf, Peacock, Audrey Blue, Sea Glass, Island Blue, Lavender). There are a few other patterns you can use to create fun backgrounds too!

I off-set the scallops before adhering them all together to create the background. I die-cut the scallop border in white, then trimmed the scallop portion to fit under the scallop frame.

The “Happy Birthday” sentiment is a part of the Slimline Scallop Frame dies. I die-cut the word in white, then backed it with black and in-lay the letter counter (I looked up what those pieces are called!) back in.
