September is such a fun month and can be so busy, but I could not say no when Concord & 9th reached out to ask if I would be a guest artist for this month’s release! We are featuring two bundles every week for the next 4 weeks. Today, guest artists (Lori Craig, Yasmin Diaz, and I) are sharing projects made using the Fresh Cut Florals Edition 4 as well as the Peace on Earth Bundle!

My first project uses the Fresh Cut Florals Edition 4 dies too create a poinsettia! I love paper piecing and creating cards with little stamping. For the poinsettia, I used Ballet Slipper cardstock and ink-blended with a combination of Ballet Slipper, Honey Suckle and Poppy inks to give the petals more color. The pine springs are die-cut from Sprout cardstock that I ink-blended with Parsley ink.

To give the pieces more interest, I splattered them with paint. The background is stamped partially using the Candy Stripe Background stamp and also splattered with paint. To finish, I embossed a sentiment from the Iconic Christmas stamp set and embellished with a few sequins.

My second card uses the Peach on Earth Bundle. This set comes with beautiful holiday images and large sentiments. I stamped all the foliage with different colored inks (Cranberry, Poppy, Stardust, Parsley, Clover, Evergreen) and then die-cut them using the coordinating dies.

The sentiment is embossed in white over black cardstock and propped up on a white panel with foam adhesive before I added the stamped images all over – some directly to the white panel and some using foam adhesive for dimension. To finish, I added red nuvo drops for berries and embellishment.
