Hi Friends!

Tonight debuts the new Simon Says Stamp LIMITED EDITION Happy Haunting Card Kit! This one is SO GOOD! It’s got a great 6×8 stamp set with an adorable die, stencils, sequins and of course, plenty of patterned paper and cardstock!

I was so inspired by the patterned paper and wanted to make a slimline card to incorporate a lot of the images from this stamp set so I made one to match! I ink-blended my background with Twisted Citron, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. Then I sprayed it with some water to give it some texture. I also splattered the panel with black and white paint.

I stamped and colored my images using Copic markers, then fussy cut the images to create my scene. The sentiment is stamped directly on the bus – so much fun!

After adhering all of the images on my ink-blended panel, some using foam adhesive for dimension, I added white gel highlights to give everything more interest.
